Brown Sugar Latte. A cozy coffee that’s a must-make when it’s chilly outside. It’s creamy, sweet, and so easy to make.
Ingredients //
1-2 shots espresso
Cinnamon
Vanilla extract
1 oz brown sugar syrup (see below)
Milk of choice
Brown Sugar Syrup:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup filtered water
To make //
In a small pot, heat the milk over medium-low heat. Add the espresso, cinnamon and vanilla extract (small pinch/dash if using), and brown sugar syrup. Stir to combine. Froth the hot milk, then pour into a glass. Stir again, then top with the extra foam. Enjoy!
How to make brown sugar syrup:
Add the brown sugar and water to a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir until sugar dissolves. Let cool, then transfer to an airtight container or jar. Store in the fridge for 3-4 weeks.
